Lookout for the fine specimens of Scots Pine as you explore the peninsula. In the spring you should hear the songs
of summertime migrant birds such as willow Warblers Chiffchaffs. On the edge of the woodland the European Gorse,
bearing bright yellow flowers in the spring, provides nesting sites for small birds.

Explore the Reenagross Peninsula by taking one of the path ways that lead you around to enjoy the beauty
of this park located on the edge of Kenmare town and right beside the golf course.
The upper storey is predominantly Irish oak and beech and a good under storey of holly in places.
